Having said that, it's all the more remarkable that her hand is constantly present but seldom seen. Her approach seems to involve affecting the mindset of an ill-disciplined picture restorer. One who when asked to restore a painting, ignores all convention and replaces the likeness with a sea urchin, or some equally exotic or incongruous organism or baroque embellishment.
